Burglary alert: Hall Park Avenue and Riddings Avenue |
||
|
Good afternoon residents,
We have had 3 reports of burglaries in the area.
2 of the burglaries took place on Hall Park Avenue, and 1 on Riddings Avenue.
The burglaries on Hall Park Avenue are believed to have taken place between 18:50 and 19:25 yesterday (15th). At both addresses, a window to the rear of the property has been smashed, entry gained, and an untidy search made. Thankfully, nothing from either property was stolen. It is believed that the suspect may have been disturbed by one of the victims returning home. A male was caught on nearby CCTV and is believed to be the likely suspect. This male is described as wearing blue trousers (possibly jeans), a grey hoody and a blue or black baseball cap. He was caught on CCTV at 18:50, and 18:55.
The burglary on Riddings Avenue took place yesterday (15th) between 13:30 and 20:45. The glass in the back door was smashed, entry gained and an untidy search made. It is believed that the only items stolen is jewellery and a pillow case. Unfortunately, we do not have a description, and at present, have been unable to narrow the time frame down any further.
Your local officer will be up to both areas shortly conducted house to house and CCTV enquiries.
The ask is to please have a look through any CCTV around the corresponding times for your area.
Please reply to this email if your have any CCTV of note, or you saw/heard anything around Riddings Avenue which may allow us to pinpoint a certain time to focus our enquiries on.
Thank you Burnley NPT | ||
